Join us for an afternoon sharing some of the key skills to support home birth midwives. We will discuss the basics of vital sign monitoring and how to help a home birth midwife if a resuscitation event is necessary. We will chat about what a home birth midwife keeps in her bag and how notes are kept during a birth. We will answer questions about becoming a midwife assistant and the path to midwifery. This is an informal afternoon, but we are also gauging interest to see about hosting a more in-depth Midwifery Assistant workshop.
